2018 Hartwick Symposium Series: Secondary

The Annual Hartwick Symposium Series 2018 is a set of annual symposiums conducted to meet the needs of students with intellectual disability, families, and professionals. There are two Hartwick Symposiums in the series, one designated Self-Advocates and one designated Secondary.
The Annual Hartwick Symposium: Secondary is an annual symposium comprised of two sessions on the same day.

Location: University of Central Florida, Orlando
Session 1 Time: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Targeted Participants: for professionals (including secondary educators, administrators, and staff) Purpose: to facilitate their work with secondary students with ID toward postsecondary education goals, and
Session 2: Time: 6:30 – 8:00 pm Targeted Participants: for families Purpose: to begin to explore postsecondary options as a goal and a step toward employment and career.
