2018 FL SAND “My Voice Matters” Conference

February 2-4, 2018

Self-advocates of Florida — save the date for the 6th Annual FL SAND Conference, which will be February 2-4, 2018, at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center at the Florida Mall in Orlando.


All self-advocates in Florida are invited to attend the conference, regardless of their affiliation with FL SAND (Florida Self-advocates Network’D) — a network of grassroots self-advocacy groups that operate in local communities around the state. The FCIHE is authorized to provide funding support (registration, lodging, mileage, and meals not provided by the FLSAND conference) for up to 20 students with ID and 8 support staff, attending the FLSAND conference. Please contact your Inclusive Postsecondary Education  program director to register for this event.


The FLSAND Conference: My Voice Matters, begins in the evening of February 2 (following the Hartwick Symposium Series: Self-Advocate) and extends through February 4th, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.

Conference Location: Florida Hotel and Conference Center, 1500 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32809

Lodging: Florida Hotel and Conference Center, Room Rate $129.

Registration Fee: $150 per Inclusive Postsecondary Education college student and support staff or mentors

Meals Provided: Lunch and dinner will be provided on Feb 3, 2018
