Sample CTP Application: Murray State University
This application was submitted to the US Department of Education by Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky to be certified as a Comprehensive Transition Program (CTP). Murray State was successful with this application and was awarded CTP status in May, 2013. This application can be used as a model or example for other colleges when completing a CTP application.
Think College LEARN: CTP
Think College LEARN provides self-paced modules using multimedia tools such as videos, publications, interactive learning activities and podcasts to share information on topics related to postsecondary education for students with intellectual disabilities.

What is a CTP and FPCTP and Why are they Important?
The Florida Consortium is pleased to provide you with the first FCIHE Brief 1.17: What is a CTP and FPCTP and Why are they Important? The rate of growth in inclusive postsecondary education for students with intellectual disabilities is both exciting and daunting. The passage of Higher Education Opportunity Act provided specific criteria for Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Programs (CTP) for students with intellectual disability. Similarly, in Florida, the passage of the Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program Act (1004.6495(5)(c)3, Florida Statues) also provided specific criteria for Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs (FPCTP) as well as funding the Florida Center for Student with Unique Abilities, grants, and scholarships. This Brief provides a 2-page overview of the CTP and FPCTP and resources for further information.
